Brian McKnight continues to make strides with his final album of original work, and his 20th album overall. McKnight’s Exodus was released in June of this year, and it includes his single “Nobody,” written about his wife Leilani.
“Nobody” is McKnight’s 18th Top 10 Billboard R&B Radio Single. It joins all-time classics “Back At One”, “Anytime”, “Crazy Love”, and others. “Nobody” was written by McKnight, and produced by Earl Cohen, Chris Paultre and Claude Villani. The video premiered with Billboard, which McKnight shared the inspiration for the video. It showcases behind the scenes footage of his marriage to Leilani.
“The funny thing is that we were trying to decide on a concept for the video, and after brainstorming, it was becoming too much of a process. Then suddenly the idea came to use our wedding footage because we hadn’t shared any of that footage with anyone. We thought what more of a special way to show our celebration and make it part of this beautiful song written for my wife.”
