Beyoncé to be Honored for Humanitarian Efforts at the 2020 BET Awards

BET Networks announced Beyoncé will be honored with the Humanitarian Award at the 20th Annual BET Awards. The prestigious award follows her public service during the coronavirus pandemic.

While being the greatest living entertainer, Beyoncé has also been working hard on her philanthropy. Along with supporting many causes, she started her own unitive called BeyGOOD. The foundation helped with scholarships, getting coronavirus testing done, helping Texas after Hurricane Harvey, and more.

Not only did she help the community through her own foundation, but she also worked with, and donated to local causes to help all over the U.S. in Black and brown communities.

Hosted by comedian and actress Amanda Seales, the 20th Annual BET Awards will air Sunday, June 28 at 8 PM ET/ 5 PT.
