Former President Barack Obama made history, and continues to, as he can now add charting artist to his resume due to Broadway musical Hamilton.
Hamilton’s creator Lin Manuel-Miranda’s tapped Obama to be a part of a remix to their song “One Last Time.” The “One Last Time (44 Remix)” has Obama reciting a farewell address by George Washington., along with the vocals from BeBe Winans and the play’s cast member Christopher Jackson.
The “One Last Time (44 Remix)” entered the chart at No. 22, and according to Nielsen Music, garnered 307,000 U.S. streams and 9,000 downloads sold in the week ending on Dec. 27.
