Looks like Azealia Banks is on the move to bigger and better things in music and entertainment.
At her concert tonight in Maryland, Banks announced she will be dropping her mixtape, “Coco,” on December 1st, 2017. Not only will fans get new music, but also a new film. “Love Beats Rhymes” stars Banks, Jill Scott, Common, Method Man, and more.
The film was directed by RZA from Wu-Tang Clan, and focuses on a struggling female rapper, trying to balance music and her personal life, while still finding her own voice.
The film will hit select video, and be on demand on December 1st as well, and hit DVD’s early 2018. Watch the trailer below.
