As previously reported, there was domestic terrorism taking place in Austin Texas during the month of March, and it appears to be over. The bomber, who has now been identified as Mark Anthony Conditt has been killed earlier this morning. Conflicting reports are saying that Conditt was tracked down and killed himself with a bomb in his car, while others are saying law enforcement shot into the car which in turn blew up the bomb.
Since the initial reports of suspect bombings, there were two more that took place. Both bombings happened at Fed Ex locations. FedEx also said it provided authorities with “extensive evidence” from its security system on the packages and the person who shipped them according to CNN. “Surveillance video shows this man, wearing gloves and a cap, taking two packages into a FedEx store in the south Austin area, Mayor Steve Adler said. CNN affiliate WOAI published those surveillance images, which the station said were recorded Sunday.”
Conditt is responsible for 4 bombings, the first two killed Anthony Stephan House and Draylen Mason, while the third injured a 75-year-old hispanic woman who is somehow believed to have some connection with the two deceased. Conditt’s last bombing took place in a public space, going off due to a tripwire, injuring two white men at random.
Not much has been released about Conditt, and what has been released is conflicting, including his age. Multiple sources are reporting that he is 23-years-old, while others are reporting that he is 24. While reports are conflicting, one thing is for sure is that this is another example of domestic terrorism by a white male, and it needs to be treated as such. Stop humanizing murderers.
