Andre Harrell is music royalty, he created Uptown records, and helped start the careers of Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Heavy D and the Boyz, and more. Harrell is well respected in the industry, and his passing was sudden. It has now been revealed what happened.
While on IG Live, DJ D-Nice confirmed the news that Harrell passed away May 8, 2020. Even with confirmation, it was still unbelievable that Harrell was gone. Thoughts, sympathies, and prayers were being shared across the TL, as well as confusion.
According to Hip Hollywood, the cause of death was revealed. Harrell’s ex-wife Wendy Credle, told the website that heart failure was the cause, stating that he has had heart problems for awhile.
