Braxton spoke on the the “Braxton Family Values” season 6 finale, her life and, the problems she had with Iyanla Vanzant while filming. Braxton previously spoke on walking out while filming with Wendy Williams. Stating, “I never thought that I would sit around the table with Iyanla who’s here to talk about me and my sisters and their problems and to bring that up and sex shame me basically in front of everybody. So, that’s why I got up and walked out.” But now that the episode has aired, Braxton can explain more.

Before Braxton even goes into detail about Vanzant and her during the interview, she had to check with her team to see if she could even say her name. Most likely legal reasons.

“We were shooting the show and I didn’t know that part was going to be talked about,” Braxton began. “As a matter of fact, I never talked about it.” Braxton continued to speak on how the molestation issue became topic on the show. Stating that a family member “told that person (Vanzant), that person (Vanzant) decided that this was the forum.”

While Braxton does not name the family member that divulged her secret, she did go into detail about what she learned from her experience, taking the hurt and pain and building NoNeedTBShame.com. The website allows user to talk and share their experiences with no fear or being judged.
