R&B singer Sammie gifted fans a new song. A cover response to Cardi B’s single “Thru Your Phone,” making “Thru My Phone.”

Sammie wrote the perspective of the man getting his phone went through, even taking a nod to one of his previous features, “Kiss Me Thru The Phone.” Although Sammie is singing compared to cardi’s rapping, the back and forth, outside of the genre, is a nice comparison.

“You called my mom, told her I cheated on you/ You called my daddy tryna get some understanding/ You probably want to get even don’t you/ I swear this love shit is so damn demanding/ Why did you go through my phone/ You kicking doors in my home/ You poppin up in the middle of the night and finding girls in my home”

Sammie has been working, and just keeps developing as a true R&B artist.
