After taking a small hiatus, Mariah. returns with “Hold on Me” and taps R&B veteran Raheem DeVaughn for her new song, creating its own unique vibe as we head into cuffing season.
Written by Mariah. and Raheem DeVaughn and produced by Eddie Spencer and Brekiscus-Hollywood Jackson for Quest Productions, “Hold On Me” serves as a sultry anthem that is carried by the vocal harmonies between both artists, creating musical tension reminiscent of an intimate conversation between a couple.
“This beautiful song serves as an anthem about love and perspective,” Mariah. said. “Love can have powerful effects on the mind, heart, and body; creating an inescapable embrace. The person becomes like an energy pack: charging and elevating his/her intended.”
