21 Savage has been dealing with a lot following being detained by ICE. A lot of rumors have been circulating, but thanks to updates from his legal and PR team, the facts were reported.
As of today, 21 Savage, born as Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph has given his first interview with ABC news after being released from ICE.
“I was just driving, and I just seen guns and blue lights. And then I was in the back of a car, and I was gone,” Abraham-Joseph stated on how he got arrested. He also stated that no one told him why he was being arrested. “They didn’t say nothing,” he added. “They just said, ‘We got Savage.'”
Charles Kuck, one of Abraham-Joseph’s lawyers, has been adamant about defending his client against libel claims from ICE, and one of the main ones is thatAbraham-Joseph hid his immigration status from the world.
“The Department of Homeland Security has known his address and his history since his filing for the U visa in 2017, yet they took no action against him until this past weekend,” Charles Kuck said in a statement.
Abraham-Joseph came to the Unite States at a young age, and unfortunately, his visa expired a year later. However, being that young, you don’t know about the legality of situations like this.
