In 2004, Usher released the best selling album of his career with Confessions, and apparently, has a follow up on the way.
Confessions had the hits such as “My Boo,” “Yeah!,” “Caught Up,” and many more platinum singles. If a follow up to Confessions were released later this year, it will be 15 years since the release of the first album.
Confessions is certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), meaning that it has sold over 10 Million albums, and a fan favorite by many.
Usher teased Confessions 2 on Instagram with the caption, “Dis what yall want…” In the comments, song-writer and producer Bryan Michael Cox, confirmed that Usher has been working on this album for years. When one fan suggested that Usher should do a part two to every song on the album, Cox replied back that those songs were done years ago.
