Teyana Taylor Confirms She Is Married On The Wendy Williams Show

Teyana Taylor is now Teyana Shumpert, at least to the world. They couple has been married for a few months now. Shumpert proposed to Teyana with a raw ruby ring (more expensive than diamonds). They have both been in the limelight recently for different reasons. An old fling from Shumpert’s past came back to make claims that he is currently cheating on Teyana with her. Shumpert came out with his own statement on the allegations on Instagram.

“I was young. I was selfish,” said Shumpert on the since deleted Instagram post. ” I’ve broken hearts and been insensitive to them. I never really cared what the Internet said of me until now and it’s not because they’re antagonizing me…they are now directing hate toward a woman that gives off nothing but positive energy and deserves nothing more than the world that I vow to give her. I  normally wouldn’t acknowledge this type of thing but you guys win. If you’re going to send the hate, direct it at me. Don’t make her pay for my mistakes. I’m older now, I’m different now. It’s Peace and love. Don’t make her pay for the mistakes of my past.”

Well today, Teyana did an interview on the Wendy Williams show, where she talked about Fade, Kanye, her daughter, and more. While recalling a story of Shumpert’s past (sleeping with a then bestfriend); Teyana shared a everything happens for a reason feel during the interview. In 3 minutes and 55 seconds in the interview, Teyana says “I have a beautiful baby, I have a wonderful husband” which Williams calls out. Just a few minutes earlier when Williams asked if she was married, Teyana replied “Maybe, Maybe Not…” keeping coy. But after today, it is official, They are officially married, and happy, and clearly the past wont determine their future.
