“Sister, Sister” Reboot Premiere Date Is Near

Tia Mowry, who recently revealed she is pregnant, stopped by Entertainment Tonight to talk about the “Sister, Sister” reboot.

“I think I would want it to kind of pick up with where our lives are now,” she revealed.  “We’re married with kids. But I think I’d definitely want it to focus on the power of sisterhood. You know, how wonderful and amazing that sisterhood and relationship can be.”

Airing from 1994–99, “Sister, Sister” chronicled the lives of identical twins switched at birth who, after meeting at the mall, move in together with their respective single adoptive mother (Harry) and single adoptive father (Reid).

Along with her sister Tamera Mowry, Tia revealed that Tim Reid and Jackeé Harry would reprise their roles as Ray Campbell and Lisa Landry. Tamara revealed to UsWeekly that she thinks “one of the characters would end up with Roger.”

While revealing that the reboot could premiere possibly as soon as Fall of 2018, Tia continued to go in-depth about bring the series back to life.

“I think fans will love it because I just feel very blessed and honored that people are still following my sister and I 20 years later. So I think they’ll be excited to see where we are right now and to see our dynamic right now,” Tia told Us. “We’re just excited to just give back to the fans and make them happy, that’s really one of the main reasons why we’re doing it.”
