Rihanna continues to grow in her career and that shows with her latest award nomination.
Rihanna released “Lift Me Up” in October as a part of the Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack, which also served as her first solo song in six years.
The song is now nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.
After the nomination was announced, Rihanna tweeted with excitement that “God be showin out!”
Tems, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson are also credited as writers on the song, along with Rihanna.
Rihanna reportedly wrote the single “as a tribute to the extraordinary life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman.”
