Rah Ali On Why She Did The “No Frauds” Video: “I Felt Like It”

Rah Ali, former best friend of Remy Ma, can be seen in the response record Nicki Minaj did to Remy Ma’s “Shether” diss to her, which broke the internet. So of course, the internet went buzzing, checking Ali and questioning how could she turn on her best friend like that.

Ali gained social media fame from being on “Love & Hip Hop” in previous season, but she disappeared. She came back when her then best friend Remy Ma, as she was in her wedding, and had a friendship through her years in prison, so the cameo in the video was unexpected. Fans didn’t know the pair stopped being friends, and Remy Ma has yet to say anything about Ali appearing in the video.

Hood Affairs on YouTube posted a compilation video of Ali responding to questions and speaking on the video.

“There’s so many people saying ‘Oh my God! I can’t believe you did that,” Ali states. “Meanwhile, they’re sleeping with their best friends boyfriends. They’re sneaking behind their sister’s back and sleeping with her baby father. They’re people sneaking money from their mom’s purse. Their rent is due, they have a final notice on the door. Please, worry about yourself…”

Ali went on to talk about the “No Frauds” video. “I did the video because I felt like it. With no disrespect, I really, really did. I felt like it. That’s what I wanted to do. I think it’s a phenomenal song, no matter what you think about this girl {Minaj}, no matter what you think about her as a rapper, no matter what you think; its great, its wonderful…”
