#NewMusic, Xscape – “Dream Killa”

Xscape was serious about this comeback tour, especially after releasing two new tracks today. “Dream Killa” goes along with their R&B/Soul Roots, while “Wifed Up” is more of a modern R&B track. With just three members now (as Kandi has said she isn’t doing new music with the group), Tiny is heard more of these records. Where as “Dream Killa” seems to have more of an Escape feel, and potential, “Wifed Up” sounds like they’re pandering to the modern crowd, and their sound isn’t coming across well with that single. Ultimately, something is missing, and that is Kandi.

Listen to “Dream Killa” below, and “Wifed Up” here.
