Elijah Blake just released “Bad Liar,” the follow up single to “Frenemies.” “Bad Liar” has Blake diving deep into his soul and mental state, elegantly relaying the message of his heart, and pain. The video shows Blake in an empty warehouse. At one point, he’s singing into the void, then he shows himself trapped in a straight jacket. All of which adds to the lyrics he’s singing.
“My friends think they know me, They’re used to the old me/ In this big town I’m still lonely, Sometimes/ Wanna burn it down, But there would be nobody left to hold me/ What if I scream at the top of my lungs? Acted like I had a gun?/ Maybe then the world would notice that I’m not okay”
