Nene Leakes Reveals Details About the Reunion, Confirms She Walked Off & Sent Cynthia Bailey Receipts Surrounding “Snakegate”

If you’ve been watching the current season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, then you know Nene Leakes has been the topic of various conversations. The reunion was recently filmed over Zoom, and some things were addressed. Leakes however has decided to address some things prior, and give people a few “nuggets” here and there.

Over on Instagram, Leakes posted some of her receipts regarding “snakegate.” If you haven’t been watching, that phrase refers to someone allegedly recording Cynthia Bailey attacking Leakes and her character. The person in question is Yovanna Momplaisir. When Momplaisir visited Bailey, she allegedly recorded Bailey without her knowing.

During the Zoom reunion, Momplaisir was invited, and Leakes was over it. We don’t know what all was said as of now, but Leakes claims she is lying. Leakes released alleged text messages (now deleted) that show Momplaisir not wanting to release the audio to due what may come from it. The text messages also show Momplaisir gunning for Kenya Moore as well.

On her YouTube, Leakes described a few details from the reunion, and her situation with Momplaisir. Leakes said production allegedly had everyone wear white besides Leakes, even though that’s the color she wanted to go with originally. She also said they asked personal questions, like her friendship with Wendy Williams. She then spoke on Momplaisir and snakegate.

“Her thirst level was at an all-time high. I did nothing to her… The executives said she could not shoot on the show… They used you for what they needed to use you for…You recorded Cynthia, you did. I have the transcript, I have all of the text messages, you did record her, period. And I sent them all to Cynthia yesterday, and I have more to send to her…”
