Following different reports about Tory Lanez’s arrest, and Megan “Megan Thee Stallion” Pete’s involvement, Pete has released a statement to clear her name, and provide some details.
On July 13, it was reported that Lanez was arrested for a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle. This happened after he, Pete, and Kylie Jenner posted themselves on Instagram in a pool. TMZ originally reported that police were called after a disturbance happened outside a Hollywood Hills home (not the home of the pool get-together).
Witnesses said people were arguing in an SUV, then they saw gunshots fired. Rumors were circulating that Pete was arrested as well.
It was reported that Pete had a foot injury from broken glass, but Pete revealed the real cause of her foot injury.
In an Instagram post, Pete said she underwent surgery to remove bullets from her foot after being shot.
She also stated that she was not arrested.
