Megan Thee Stallion and 1501 Label Take Legal Issues to Social Media, Rapper Claims Being Bullied and Never Paid By Label

On Tuesday, 1501 Certified Entertainment label owner Carl Crawford shared a screenshot of an article which said Megan Thee Stallion filed to dismiss a lawsuit against the label, but the rapper shot back quickly and said he is still being sued for other things.

Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, said the lawsuit in question was dropped because it was for the label not allowing her to release music. Since she has released music on multiple different occasions, the rapper said there is no longer a case with that.

“We are most definitely still in court and you still getting sued because you owe me money,” reads the rapper’s since-deleted Instagram post. “I ain’t never been paid from 1501 in my life! I make money because I’m Megan Thee Stallion.”

Pete then said the label was bullying her and has attempted to make her a “villain” online.

Crawford also took to social media to address the rapper and her claims.

“we’re not bullying nobody,” Crawford said on his Instagram story. “That’s yet another lie and fake narrative made up by some of the best PR people you would ever come across. #Nowwhatsreallyreal.”

Crawford also questioned the bully claims by the rapper and said he’s been sued three times by the same people.

“Told yall another lawyer suit was coming,” Crawford said. “This they way of saying be quiet. You talking and telling too much of the truth.”
