The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees have been announced, and it includes many first-time nominees.
From R&B to Rock, Hop-Hop to Alternative, Pop and Disco, the 2024 class of nominees is eclectic and has a range.
To be nominated, artists will have had to release their first commercial project at least 25 years before eligibility.
Ten out of 15 of the Nominees are on the ballot for the first time, including Mariah Carey, Cher, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Lenny Kravitz, Oasis, Sinéad O’Connor, Ozzy Osbourne and Sade.
Nominee ballots will be sent to an international voting body of more than 1,000 artists, historians, and members of the music industry.
The 2023 inductees include Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners.
