Janet Jackson & Husband Wissam Al Mana Welcome A New Born Baby Boy

2017 is starting off a good year for Janet Jackson. The 50-year-old entertainer, and husband Wissam Al Mana, 42, welcomed a baby boy to the world on Tuesday, reports People.

“Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world,” a rep for Jackson said in a statement, before adding: “[She] had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

In true Jackson fashion, she has mostly avoided the spotlight during her pregnancy. But in late November she took to Twitter to update her fans on how things were going, tweeting, “Hey you guys… It’s been awhile… but I’m still listening.. I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I’m doing well.. Al Hamdu lillah.”

In April of last year, she canceled her remaining comeback tour dates, and announced plans to start a family.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change . . . My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she said in a video message to her fans at the time. “Please, if you can, try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up; doctor’s orders.”

Jackson and Al Mana wed in 2012. This is the couple’s first child.
