It’s Official, Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” is the First Solo Female #1 Hot 100 Since 1998!

Congratulations to Cardi B on this feat!

According to Chart Data on twitter, “Bodak Yellow” is now the first solo female rap record to reach number 1 on the billboard Hot 100 since Lauryn Hill in 1998 with “Too Top (That Thing).”

Moving from number 78 to number 1, knocking out Taylor Swift from the top position; the only thing left is for Cardi to drop that album.
